10 am Three Bridges Coffeehouse, Shelton, CT
We invite all women and their friends to join us for coffee, tea or other beverages, excellent food, and challenging and fun conversations. We will start with Eve in the book of Genesis, and work our way through selected inspirational women of the Bible. Our focus will be on how God’s great power, love and grace worked through the women of biblical history. No previous knowledge is necessary. Pastor Ken Smith quips that he will serve as an “honorary woman” as he facilitates these short informal discussions. Location: Three Bridges Coffeehouse, Conti Building, 415 Howe Avenue (CT Route 110), Shelton, CT. Day and time: every Thursday @10 am. Discussions last about an hour.

Friday, September 4, 2015 — Medical missionary and global health consultant Kristy Engel will give a presentation at First Baptist Church of Shelton, CT, and you are warmly invited to attend, and to bring family and friends. Kristy is an RN and pediatric nurse practitioner who served for many years as a medical missionary at Good Samaritan Hospital in La Romana, a city of The Dominican Republic (DR), and who also served in outreach to Haitian communities in that country. Kristy now serves as a global health consultant with International Ministries of the American Baptist Churches, USA. Resurrection Sunday (Easter), April 5 — We’ll celebrate in worship at First Baptist Church of Shelton, CT at 10:30 am in our sanctuary. Children, families, and all are welcome. You don’t need to be a believer or member to join us. You’re welcome simply to listen and explore your thoughts and feelings about God. Sunday School and our Adult Bible Study have been cancelled. If conditions in your neighborhood make it too difficult to get out and drive, we hope to see you next week!
Sunday, January 25, 10:30 am — Worship, Annual Meeting of First Baptist Church of Shelton, CT at 11:30 am, and a Reception. Pastor Ken Smith will preach on Jeremiah 29 (“Living at Home in Exile”) and we will joyfully welcome new members during the service. After church will be FBC Shelton’s 2015 Annual Meeting, and following that, a delicious luncheon to which all are invited!
